Overview

SecureNow is a commercial and group insurance brokerage serving small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and individuals in India. Founded in 2011 by Kapil Mehta and Abhishek Bondia, the company distributes and services policies through a proprietary technology platform rather than the manual, paper-based process used by traditional brokers, and holds an active IRDA broker license.

The brokerage places group insurance (health, personal accident, term life, travel, and employee deposit-linked insurance) for employers, commercial lines (cyber, professional indemnity, directors and officers, workmen compensation, marine cargo and hull, fire, engineering and contractors' risk, motor fleet) for businesses, and individual lines (health, term life, motor, home, travel, personal accident) for consumers, alongside tailored covers for professions such as medicine, law, architecture, and accounting.

Policy servicing runs through a mobile app and web platform covering premium tracking, a network hospital locator, paperless digital claims submission, and a self-service benefits dashboard for group scheme members. SecureNow reports 25,000-30,000+ SME clients across roughly 150 locations in India and has raised USD 13.3M+ across multiple rounds, including a USD 6M Series B from Apis Insurtech Fund in December 2021.
