Overview
Viesure Innovation Center GmbH is a customer engagement technology provider for insurance carriers, operating as the dedicated innovation center of the Vienna Insurance Group (VIG). Founded in January 2019 as the first internal corporate startup of VIG, viesure combines product strategy, engineering, AI, and UX design to develop digital insurance products for VIG's subsidiary carriers.
The company builds mobile apps and digital portals that allow policyholders to manage policies, submit claims, and track requests across health, home, and property insurance lines. Its two flagship products -- the losleben app for Wiener Stadtische Versicherung and the MeineDONAU portal for DONAU Versicherung -- are deployed on iOS and Android and integrate with each carrier's core insurance systems. Development methodology centers on agile sprints, user research, and iterative testing across cross-functional teams.
