Overview

Stebby is an employee wellness benefits platform for employers in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The platform enables companies to allocate and manage wellness compensation for employees, providing access to a marketplace of over 8,500 health and wellness service providers across the Baltic region. Founded in 2012 as SportID in Tartu, Estonia, the company rebranded to Stebby and expanded to serve over 1,700 corporate clients and 180,000 active users.

The platform operates as a SaaS solution with native mobile apps for iOS and Android. Employers pay only for services employees actually use. In Estonia, the platform handles automated tax compliance for wellness compensation up to EUR 100 per quarter tax-free. A 360-degree Health Protection module, developed with IIZI Kindlustusmaakler AS and ERGO Group AG, adds health insurance capabilities directly within the platform.

In June 2024, Stebby was acquired by Up Group, a French employee benefits and rewards company, as part of Up Group's expansion into the Baltic market. The acquisition followed investment from Livonia Partners in 2022 and earlier participation in the Startup Wise Guys and Start-Up Chile accelerator programs.
