Agile Underwriting Services is a specialty commercial insurance MGA and Lloyd's Coverholder that distributes quote-bind-manage products to licensed insurance brokers across Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Sydney, the company operates under the "Powered by Agile" and "Agile Underwriting" brands, offering more than 54 products across categories including accident and health, aviation, casualty, construction, cyber, drones, financial lines, marine and cargo, property, travel, inland transit, and wholesale.

Agile underwrites through its own Lloyd's syndicate, Syndicate 2427, launched in May 2024 under Lloyd's syndicate-in-a-box framework and managed by Asta, reported as an Australian first at the time. The syndicate gives Agile direct access to Lloyd's capacity for the niche and SME commercial risks it originates domestically, with underwriters based in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. StarStone served as an appointed capacity and distribution partner in Australasia beginning in 2019, ahead of the syndicate's launch.

Gross written premium for Syndicate 2427 rose from GBP 34.1 million for the 2024 year of account to a projected GBP 62.1 million for the 2026 year of account, with growth concentrated in liability, professional indemnity, accident and health, property, and travel lines. Brokers access the platform through a role-based, multi-user web dashboard or a full REST API with a sandbox environment and webhook support, with real-time quoting typically completed in under 10 seconds, automated bordereau generation, and MI reporting.
