Overview

Simplifi (stylized as SIMPLIFi) is a cloud-based claims management platform built by CET (Claims and Emergency Technology), a UK insurtech company. The platform serves P&C carriers, claims management organizations, and their contractor networks, managing the full customer journey from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) and policy validation through contractor deployment and settlement. CET currently administers more than four million policies covering approximately one in eight UK residential properties.

The Simplifi platform is a proprietary, in-house developed solution hosted on Microsoft Azure. It integrates telephony via Twilio and provides web and mobile interfaces for all stakeholders -- insurers, claims handlers, and contractors. The system incorporates machine learning and AI-driven automation for FNOL intake, policy validation, and claims processing workflows.

CET was founded in 1988 and operates a network of over 2,000 independent, accredited engineers across the UK and Northern Ireland. The company received private equity backing from Palatine PE and has approximately 260 staff. In addition to the software platform, CET provides outsourced services including 24/7 home emergency response, underground services, and subsidence investigation.
