Overview

Leaf Insurance is a distribution and advisory platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Denmark, automating insurance and pension advisory through data-driven analysis. The company uses accounting data and thousands of business data points to build a digital model of each client company, enabling it to identify coverage gaps, flag redundant policies, and recommend adjustments on a continuous basis.

The platform delivers advisory and brokerage services through a SaaS application supplemented by an AI tool called Vera, which provides intelligent recommendations for insurance and pension needs. Leaf integrates with business systems and accounting platforms to assess coverage in context, arranging policies directly and supporting clients through the claims process.

Founded in 2023, Leaf has grown to serve 600+ Danish companies. The platform has arranged over 500 new policies and has reportedly saved its customer base an estimated DKK 7-9 million annually by eliminating unnecessary coverage. In June 2025, Leaf raised EUR 1.74M in a seed round led by Caesar Ventures, with participation from EIFO (Danish Export and Investment Fund), InnoFounder, and Copenhagen Fintech Lab.
