Overview

Kovrr is a cyber risk quantification (CRQ) and AI governance platform for P&C insurers, reinsurers, and enterprise organizations. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, the company converts complex cybersecurity and AI-related exposure data into financially quantified metrics to support underwriting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and board reporting.

The platform delivers a multi-model CRQ approach using Monte Carlo simulation, running tens of thousands of trials to produce outputs such as Average Annual Loss, loss exceedance curves, and event severity calculations. Solutions are delivered as a cloud-based SaaS platform with API integrations connecting to threat intelligence feeds, vulnerability databases, and enterprise security tools. In 2025, Kovrr expanded into AI risk governance, launching a suite that addresses EU AI Act compliance, AI asset inventory, and third-party AI risk monitoring.

Kovrr manages over USD 527 billion in total client exposure and ingests more than one million intelligence data points daily. Notable clients include Allianz, AON Reinsurance Solutions, Deutsche Ruck, MS & AD Holdings, and MAPFRE RE. The company raised a Series A of USD 5.5M in 2019 from StageOne Ventures and Mundi Ventures, with additional investment from Ocean Azul Partners, Banco Sabadell, and Founders Factory.
