Overview

InsuranceMenu is a SaaS distribution platform for the health and life insurance segment, purpose-built to help carriers and independent agents digitize group benefits distribution for small businesses. The platform originated from a Massachusetts legislative initiative in 2010 aimed at reducing healthcare costs for small employers, and was formally launched in 2014 by co-founders Nabil Aidoud and Mason Harding.

The platform provides web storefronts stocked with pre-configured carrier product catalogs covering health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance lines. Agents use the BrokerPortal to generate multi-line proposals, manage enrollments with self-serve or batch capabilities, submit renewals, and track cross-sell opportunities across their small group book of business. Carrier integrations include EDI enrollment feeds and auto-filled PDF generation for data delivery.

InsuranceMenu received a USD 40K seed investment from the Global Insurance Accelerator in January 2017. The company focuses on small businesses in the 50-500 employee range and has established a carrier partnership with Delta Dental of Iowa.
