iBime is a fully electronic, retail personal-lines insurance brokerage serving individual consumers in Iran. Operating under a Direct Insurance Brokerage license, the company runs an online comparison-and-purchase platform for auto, property, travel, mobile-device, motorcycle, personal accident, and supplementary health coverage, positioning itself as an alternative to traditional in-person insurance buying.

iBime's brokerage entity is held by three subsidiaries of Hamrah Aval (MCI), Iran's largest mobile network operator: Armaan Sarmaye Hamrah, Bahar Ertebat Gostar, and Partnet Kish. This telecom ownership structure, rather than independent or venture funding, underpins its distribution reach; iBime was recognized the year after its founding as a certified insurance startup by Hamrah Aval's Innovation and Business Development Department. The company reports more than 10 licenses held, 120+ customers, and 1.8 million electronically issued policies among mobile subscribers in its first year of operation.

The platform is built on a Next.js/React stack with Material UI components, supporting online quoting and purchase, a self-service three-step claims registration process, and automated renewal and installment-payment reminders. It also runs an agent/representation program through which individuals and businesses can become authorized iBime sales agents, supplementing its direct digital channel.
