CPH Insurance (formerly CPH & Associates) is a professional liability MGA distributing specialty coverage to mental health counselors, therapists, psychologists, allied health professionals, wellness coaches, and fitness trainers across the United States. The company operates through a proprietary online platform with straight-through processing (STP) technology, enabling direct-to-consumer policy issuance.
The MGA holds full binding authority through Philadelphia Insurance Companies, underwriting professional liability policies for healthcare-adjacent practitioners across all US states. CPH launched online quoting in 2008 and has since moved the majority of its volume to digital channels, with policy issuance completed in approximately 10 minutes and same-day coverage effective dates available.
CPH Insurance was acquired by DOXA Insurance Holdings in June 2024, becoming part of a PE-backed specialty MGA platform supported by Ares Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and First Eagle Alternative Capital BDC. As of the acquisition, CPH serves over 250,000 insured professionals and has written more than 500,000 policies since inception. DOXA continued expanding its portfolio in 2026 with acquisitions of Eaton Gate Group (UK) and Jupiter Underwriting Group (Florida).
