Founded in 2016 by Dr. Ahmed Yousef, ClickMare operates a network of over 2,600 doctors, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across Egypt.
The platform delivers a customizable annual healthcare program covering up to 80% of eligible medical costs, monthly chronic medication services, online health analysis, and 24/7 customer support. ClickMare also aggregates anonymized patient and claims data that it licenses to insurance companies as a B2B data product, diversifying its revenue beyond subscription fees and provider commissions. Corporate coverage is offered through a dedicated arm (ClickMare Plus / ClickMare Corporate) that provides group health insurance packages to SMEs, addressing a market where an estimated 87% of Egyptian small businesses carry no employee health coverage.
As of early 2022, the company had served over 40,000 Egyptians and received non-equity accelerator support from AUC Venture Lab and StartEgypt. ClickMare was named one of the Top 50 Healthcare Companies in Africa and received the V-Lab Innovation Fund Award (seventh winner) in a program operated in partnership with Oxfam MENA and the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme.
