Overview
BrokerStar is a broker management platform built for independent insurance brokers in Switzerland. The system covers the full broker workflow in one application -- client records, policy tracking, claims handling, lead management, invoicing, and billing.
The platform is delivered as a cloud-based SaaS hosted entirely in Switzerland and certified under the Swiss Made Software program. It connects to major Swiss insurance carriers, banking systems, and accounting platforms using IGB2B standard integrations. The BrokerStar Next module extends the core system with AI-driven automation for client communications, back-office transcription, and document generation, using both ChatGPT and Claude. A separate white-label portal (BrokerWeb) allows policyholders to view policies, submit claims, and pay invoices online without broker involvement.
BrokerStar serves more than 200 corporate broker clients across Switzerland with approximately 2,600 platform users. The product was developed by WMC IT Solutions AG over more than 20 years of operation. In December 2024, Vierwald Software AG acquired WMC IT Solutions AG and merged BrokerStar with Brokinsoft, combining the development teams and roadmaps of the two largest Swiss broker management platforms.
