At-Bay
The world's first InsurSec company -- combining cyber insurance with proactive security in a single integrated offering.
Overview
At-Bay is an insurtech carrier and the world's first InsurSec provider, integrating enterprise-grade cybersecurity with cyber insurance in a unified offering. Founded in 2016 by CEO Rotem Iram and Chief Risk Officer Roman Itskovich, the company is headquartered in New York and operates additional U.S. offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Mountain View, and Atlanta, with an R&D center in Tel Aviv, Israel.
At-Bay's core model goes beyond traditional cyber insurance: policyholders gain access to the Stance platform, which provides continuous vulnerability monitoring, AI-powered threat detection, managed detection and response (MDR), and incident response capabilities alongside their policy. The company has raised USD 295.7M from investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Acrew Capital, Khosla Ventures, M12 (Microsoft Ventures), Munich Re Ventures, and Icon Ventures.
In January 2023, At-Bay completed the acquisition of At-Bay Specialty Insurance Company (formerly XL Insurance America) -- a Delaware-domiciled E&S carrier -- enabling it to issue policies directly and expand into additional specialty lines. The company serves 35,000+ businesses across 100+ industries.
