Overview

Agency Matrix is a browser-based insurance agency management system (AMS) for independent agents and small to mid-sized agencies. Founded in 2004 in Duluth, Georgia by former insurance professionals, the platform centralizes client data, automates routine workflows, and provides financial tracking tools to help agencies manage policies, documents, and customer communications.

The system is delivered as a fully web-based SaaS application requiring no local installation. Core capabilities include policy and document management, X-date tracking, built-in text messaging, email integration, agency websites, and real-time reporting. The platform is accessible from any internet-connected device and is positioned as an affordable option for smaller independent agencies.

Agency Matrix was acquired by Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC) in February 2020, and ITC was subsequently acquired by Zywave in 2021. Agency Matrix now operates as a product within Zywave's Sales Cloud, under the Personal Lines suite. Zywave is majority-owned by Clearlake Capital Group with Aurora Capital Partners as co-investor.
