Overview

Weecover is an end-to-end insurtech SaaS platform headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, that enables insurers, MGAs, retailers, and financial institutions to configure, manage, and distribute insurance products digitally. Founded in 2019 by insurance industry veterans Jordi Pages and Rafael Gallardo, the company launched its platform in 2020 to address the inability of traditional insurers to integrate insurance into digital channels quickly and at scale.

The platform has evolved from a specialist embedded insurance tool into a comprehensive 360-degree insurance platform -- functioning as both a core policy administration system and an omnichannel distribution engine. By the end of 2024, the platform processed over 100,000 insurance contracts annually across Spain, Portugal, France, Andorra, Italy, and Mexico. The company raised a EUR 4.2M Series A in January 2025 to accelerate international expansion.

With approximately 20 employees, Weecover positions itself on rapid deployment (go-live in around four weeks) and low-code product configuration, enabling insurers and MGAs to launch and iterate on insurance products without heavy technical investment.
