Overview

Peer Circle is a Toronto-based commercial insurance MGA serving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through licensed insurance brokers across Canada. The platform enables brokers to quote, bind, and administer business insurance digitally, reducing friction in a market the company describes as chronically underinsured.

The company underwrites SME commercial lines and incorporates a peer-to-peer (P2P) risk-reduction module, where policyholders who maintain low claims experience earn premium rebates of up to 20% on renewal. New policyholders transferring an existing policy receive a 10% credit. The platform also supports multi-MGA storefronts, allowing other MGAs to establish digital distribution channels on top of the Peer Circle infrastructure.

Peer Circle is a subsidiary of Huang and Associates Analytics Inc. (HAA), led by founder Kevin Huang, a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) with a doctorate in engineering and over 15 years of reinsurance and risk management experience. The technology platform was developed in partnership with Fortifier (4tifier.com).
