Overview

Pace Insurance is an agentic AI workflow platform for insurance carriers, brokers, and MGAs. Founded in 2024, the company builds AI agents that autonomously execute complex insurance operations -- including submissions processing, claims handling, policy servicing, and document-heavy back-office workflows -- traditionally fulfilled by business process outsourcing providers and internal operations teams.

The platform converts standard operating procedures into agent-driven workflows that navigate internal systems, process documents, and interact with customers across email, chat, text, voice, and web portals. Pace integrates with core insurance systems including Guidewire, Duck Creek, and Vertafore, as well as legacy platforms and mainframes, enabling automation across diverse insurance technology stacks. The system maintains full audit lineage and compliance controls suitable for regulated environments, and AI models are not trained on personally identifiable information.

Since launching in 2025, Pace agents have autonomously completed over 250,000 insurance workflows. The company raised USD 10M in a Series A led by Sequoia Capital in January 2026, followed by a USD 46M Series B co-led by Thrive Capital and Sequoia Capital in May 2026, bringing total funding to USD 56M. Customers include Prudential, Palomar, WTW, RYZE Claim Solutions, Convex US, The Mutual Group, and Newfront.
