Overview

NuvaLaw is a claims technology platform for P&C insurers, third-party administrators, and law firms, focused on digital claims resolution and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in the England and Wales market. The company partners with Trust Arbitration to deliver structured negotiation workflows and online dispute resolution for personal injury and third-party liability claims.

The platform, called Interact, combines optical character recognition, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation to standardize claims data, automate settlement decisions, and manage negotiation workflows. It integrates with existing case management systems via API and is built on the Mendix low-code development environment, hosted on Amazon Web Services.

NuvaLaw raised USD 3M in a pre-Series A round in October 2023 from Semantic Capital, Loyal VC, and Startupbootcamp InsurTech London. The platform is in active use with more than eight major UK insurers, including Esure and RSA, and seven major law firms. The company has received recognition including Insurance Times Claims Partner Of The Year and the Claims Achievement Award at the Claims Excellence Awards.
