The platform uses proprietary algorithmic risk assessment to generate tailored insurance quotes and bind policies digitally, without paper or agent intermediaries. Products are distributed through partnerships with carriers including Vittoria, Tokio Marine, and AmTrust, with Hiscox serving as both a former carrier partner and the acquiring parent company as of June 2025.
In June 2025, Hiscox acquired Lokky to strengthen its presence in Italy's micro-enterprise insurance segment. Prior to the acquisition, Lokky had raised approximately USD 6.13M across equity crowdfunding and early-stage rounds. The company has received recognition including the Best Insurtech 2022 award at the Italy Insurance Awards and inclusion in the Insurtech Insights and Sonr Future50 Europe list.
