Overview

Huize Holding Limited (NASDAQ: HUIZ) operates a technology-driven online insurance distribution platform serving consumers, distribution partners, and insurance carriers across mainland China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. The platform functions as a three-sided marketplace, enabling consumers to compare and purchase life, health, accident, property & casualty, and travel insurance products from over 100 partnered carriers.

The platform is built on proprietary AI systems -- the Beidou Data Engine and Cube Algorithm Engine -- which power personalized product recommendations, risk scoring, and intelligent underwriting. In February 2025, Huize integrated the DeepSeek R1 model into its consumer-facing services, becoming the first insurance platform to do so, achieving 300% greater recommendation efficiency and 91% accuracy in product matching. As of March 2025, Huize had served 11.0 million cumulative insurance clients. Full-year 2024 gross written premiums reached RMB 6,158.6M, with first-year premiums hitting a record RMB 3,421.0M (up 30.5% year-over-year). International revenue, driven by Vietnam operations through its Global Care acquisition and the Singapore expansion, accounted for approximately 48% of total group revenue by 2025. The company went public on NASDAQ in February 2020, raising approximately USD 55M.
