Curv Health is a digital health clinic platform serving Canadian insurance carriers and employer groups by connecting their members directly with independent allied healthcare providers including physiotherapists, psychotherapists, dietitians, and occupational therapists. The platform removes traditional gatekeepers, enabling direct access to care across physical therapy, mental health, and nutrition disciplines under group benefits and employee assistance programs.

The platform combines practice management tools, secure video consultation, asynchronous messaging, exercise programming, and automated intake workflows into a single environment for independent practitioners. A patent-pending computer vision system performs biomechanical motion analysis using Apple HealthKit data, enabling remote assessment without clinic visits. The platform is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA Level 1, and PIPEDA compliant.

Founded in 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia by Shea Balish during his PhD at Dalhousie University, Curv Health raised CAD 5.1M in a seed round in February 2022 led by iGan Partners and Build Ventures. The company reports patient compliance rates above 50% for at-home treatment programs, roughly twice the industry average, and serves tens of thousands of employees across Canada through direct relationships with major insurance carriers and group benefits brokers.
