Amplify Health
Integrated health technology solutions for insurers and payers across Asia
Overview
Amplify Health is a health technology solutions provider for health insurers and payers across Asia. The company was established in February 2022 as a joint venture between AIA Group (75%) and Discovery Group (25%), combining Discovery's healthcare technology intellectual property with AIA distribution and execution capabilities across 18 Asian markets. Headquartered in Singapore, it operates across Asia excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau under the JV structure, with a separate wholly-owned AIA entity covering those three markets.
The company delivers an integrated suite of platforms spanning AI-powered claims processing, clinical data analytics, chronic disease management, and evidence-based wellness programs. Products are delivered as software platforms integrated into insurer systems, enabling automated claims adjudication, population risk stratification, fraud and waste detection, and value-based care engagement. In January 2023, Amplify Health acquired AiDA Technologies, a Singapore-based AI and machine learning company, strengthening its capabilities in underwriting automation, claims processing, and fraud/waste/abuse detection.
Amplify Health serves health insurers across seven Southeast Asian markets through its Smart Claims platform, with AIA Group subsidiaries as the primary client base. The AI-powered Clinical Encoder has won industry recognition including the Technology Initiative Excellence Award at InsurTech Connect Asia (2025) and the Most Innovative AI Solution for Health Insurance at the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards (2025).
