Overview

ACTICO is a decision management platform provider serving insurers, banks, and financial services firms with rules-based and AI-enhanced automation for underwriting, compliance, and credit decisioning. Founded in 1997 and operating as an independent company since a 2015 spinoff from Bosch's financial software division, ACTICO serves over 300 clients across 25+ countries, with deployments processing more than 145 million events daily.

The platform combines a rules engine with machine learning model management and generative AI tooling, allowing compliance and underwriting teams to automate complex decision workflows. It offers both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises deployment. For insurance use cases, ACTICO integrates with Guidewire and Duck Creek, supporting claims automation, underwriting decisioning, and regulatory compliance. The ACTICO Companion feature enables compliance officers to generate deployable rule sets from plain-language scenario descriptions.

Keensight Capital acquired a majority stake in ACTICO in March 2025, with Bregal Unternehmerkapital retaining a minority position. The company was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Decision Intelligence Platforms and included in the RegTech100 list for 2026.
