Valocity
Automating property valuation with a customizable digital platform that connects lenders, brokers, and valuers.
Overview
Valocity is a property valuation technology platform for lenders, mortgage brokers, and property valuers across the APAC region. Founded in 2013 by Carmen Vicelich in Auckland, New Zealand, the company digitizes and automates end-to-end property valuation workflows, replacing manual processes with a connected platform that links lending institutions with accredited valuers.
The platform offers automated valuation models (AVMs) powered by machine learning, desktop valuation tools, and a residential valuation ordering system. It is deployed as a cloud-native SaaS solution on Microsoft Azure and provides REST API connectivity for integration with legacy and modern lending systems. The platform carries ISO 27001 certification and supports local data residency requirements.
Valocity serves major New Zealand and Australian banks and has approximately 125 employees. In 2025, the company won Best International Fintech at the India Fintech Awards for the third time and entered an exclusive data partnership with the Australian Property Institute (API). Following a review by the New Zealand Commerce Commission, Valocity committed to platform changes that allow borrowers to request competitive quotes from multiple valuers.
