Syncier is a core insurance platform and marketplace solutions provider for carriers worldwide, delivering the technology that powers end-to-end policy administration across property & casualty, life, health, and assistance lines. Founded in 2017 by Allianz and spun out as an independent company, Syncier commercializes the Allianz Business System (ABS) -- the platform underlying Allianz's global operations -- making it available to other insurers. The company operates from Munich, Germany, with a distributed client base across Europe, Asia, and North America.

The company's flagship product, ABS Enterprise Edition, is a modular, cloud-ready platform delivered on Microsoft Azure. It covers the full insurance lifecycle from policy issuance through claims settlement, with support for multi-country regulatory requirements. Syncier also operates a marketplace of plug-and-play insurance services including AI-based fraud detection and customer service automation tools. Integration with third-party services, such as IDnow for digital identity verification, is supported through open APIs.

Syncier manages approximately 60 million insurance policies across 19 countries through its ABS platform, with Allianz serving as both the founding backer and primary reference customer. The company raised EUR 31.5M in initial capital from Allianz at founding. In 2019, Syncier entered a joint go-to-market partnership with Microsoft to accelerate cloud adoption among insurers globally. The Syncier Marketplace business unit (apinity GmbH) was subsequently acquired by Munich Re in October 2022.
