Overview
Prima Solutions is a French insurance software group providing cloud-based, modular platforms for insurers, mutuals, brokers, and delegates across property and casualty, life, health, personal protection, and reinsurance lines. Founded in 2000 by Hugues Delannoy (co-founder of Assurland.com), the company has operated in the insurance software market for more than 25 years and serves over 40 insurance clients across 11+ countries.
The company delivers a suite of integrated products spanning the full insurance business process: policy administration, claims management, digital distribution, self-service portals, portfolio analytics, operations automation, and reinsurance management. All platforms are 100% cloud-native and web-based, with multi-language and multi-currency capabilities. In 2018, Prima Solutions merged with Effisoft, a specialist reinsurance software firm, adding treaty and facultative reinsurance functionality to the group.
In January 2023, Dutch software group Total Specific Solutions (TSS) -- part of Topicus.com and Constellation Software -- acquired Prima Solutions from The Carlyle Group (which had held the company since 2017). Prima became the 16th company in Groupe TSS France. The group generates approximately USD 48M in annual revenue and has been growing headcount 10-20% annually from its headquarters near Paris.
