Overview

Portima is a broker management and networking platform for insurance brokers and carriers in Belgium. The company develops software and secure network infrastructure enabling insurance intermediaries to manage client relationships, policies, and communications with insurers. Portima operates as a cooperative limited-liability company jointly owned by five major Belgian insurers.

The company delivers two primary platforms: the Brio broker management system, an ERP for insurance office operations, and the Portima Connect private network, which provides secure data exchange, VPN connectivity, and messaging between brokers and carriers. A customer-facing mobile and web portal called MyBroker allows policyholders to self-serve on broker-managed policies.
