Overview

Mainline is an intelligent document processing (IDP) platform for life and property & casualty insurers in South Korea. Founded in 2005 as Mainline Infotech and renamed Mainline Co., Ltd. in 2008, the company is headquartered in Seoul and has built its business around automating the document-heavy workflows of Korean insurers, with enterprise and public-sector document automation as later extensions of the same core technology.

The platform combines OCR, computer vision, and natural language processing with a generative-AI layer (AIFuze) to read and process insurance documents. Its insurance product line covers policy administration (MCP), contract and terms document management (MagicTerms), premium and reserve calculation (MagicPV), structured data extraction from forms and applications (MagicParser), claims payment calculation (MagicClaim), and an operations document portal (ezPortal).

Mainline lists 32 corporate insurance clients across life and P&C lines, including Samsung Life, Hanwha Life, Kyobo Life, and Shinhan Life on the life side, and Samsung Fire & Marine, DB Insurance, and KB Insurance on the P&C side. The company has raised three institutional rounds totaling roughly KRW 31 billion, most recently a KRW 27 billion Pre-IPO round in January 2024 from Hyundai Investment Partners, InterVest, and Kolon Investment, and is pursuing a KOSDAQ listing.
