Overview

Linkbycar is a connected vehicle telematics data platform for insurance carriers and fleet operators, focused on the P&C personal and commercial auto segments. The platform collects and unifies vehicle telemetry from more than 18 OEM brands -- including Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW -- through direct manufacturer integrations, giving insurers a single data feed that spans multiple vehicle makes.

The core offering is delivered as a SaaS and API-first service, with RESTful APIs for third-party integration. Capabilities include pay-as-you-drive and usage-based insurance (UBI) pricing tools, AI-driven crash event detection and claims workflow automation, driver behavior scoring, electric vehicle battery health monitoring, and configurable fleet analytics dashboards. The system processes real-time OEM telemetry and applies machine learning to classify driving events, assess risk patterns, and support claims verification.

Founded in 2020 and based in Paris, Linkbycar raised a USD 1.51M Series A in October 2024 led by Belgian insurer Ethias through its Ethias Ventures arm and LeanSquare, a Walloon investment fund. The company is a Techstars alumnus and received the People's Choice Award at Plug and Play Insurtech Expo 11 in Munich in 2026.
