Overview

Klaimy is a document intelligence platform for health, disability, and borrower insurers. Founded in Paris in 2023, the company automates the extraction and structuring of data from medical and administrative documents used in underwriting and claims processing. The platform targets health and life carriers, reinsurers, and brokers primarily across the French market, with expansion plans into the UK.

The platform uses proprietary medical semantic models and natural language processing rather than general-purpose LLMs, enabling it to process complex, unstructured medical records with reported accuracy above 98%. Klaimy integrates with existing claims management and underwriting systems via RESTful API and handles diverse document types including medical files, invoices, work stoppages, death certificates, and loan documents.

In April 2025, Klaimy raised EUR 1.2M in Pre-Seed funding led by Insurtech Gateway alongside Tenity, U-Investors, and individual angels. The company had paying clients at the time of funding and displays over ten customer logos on its website, including French insurance brokers and specialty insurers.
