JMR Software is a South African insurance administration software provider serving insurers, brokers, and MGAs. Founded in 1987, the company delivers cloud-based policy lifecycle management and enterprise data migration solutions to organizations in the life and short-term insurance sectors, including commercial lines, personal lines, and reinsurance.

The company's flagship product, CloudCover, is a SaaS insurance administration platform that handles policy management from inception through claims and cancellation. The platform is deployed on managed infrastructure and integrates administrative, financial, regulatory, and reporting functions in a single suite. JMR also offers BITSHIFT, a technology-agnostic enterprise data migration solution designed for insurance system transitions, and eeziSign, a digital signature product for business document workflows.

With more than 35 years in the South African financial services market, JMR serves a base of insurance clients who have publicly documented implementations of its platforms. The company is bootstrapped and founder-led, with Dane Richards serving as CEO after transitioning from the role of CTO.
