Founded in 2015 by a team of ex-insurance professionals, the platform helps brokers locate underwriting capacity by searching digitally published risk appetites, and helps underwriters reach a wider audience of distribution partners.
The platform delivers tools for brokers and underwriters through a web-based SaaS model. Underwriters define and publish their risk appetites in a standardized format, and brokers use a bespoke search engine to identify capacity matching their risks. A market activity news feed provides updates on appetite changes, new market entrants, regulatory developments, and personnel moves.
At the time of its acquisition by Stubben Edge Group in December 2022, Insurercore had grown to over 4,600 registered insurance professionals, making it the largest insurance networking platform in Europe. The company participated in Lloyd's Lab Cohort 1 in 2018.
