It operates as a fully owned subsidiary of Norwegian Hull Club, one of the world's leading marine and energy insurers.

The company's flagship product, Etuity Core, is a cloud-native platform covering underwriting, operations, claims, and reporting for marine insurance. The platform is designed for accessibility from the ground up and targets end-to-end workflow management for specialist lines that mainstream insurance software typically underserves. A team of approximately 53 staff -- including systems developers, DevOps specialists, system architects, and UX professionals -- supports ongoing development and product delivery.

Instech serves a client base that includes Aon, Howden, Gallagher, Skuld, Cap Marine, and Lockton Edge, spanning some of the largest global marine insurance brokers and specialty insurers. Norwegian Hull Club serves as both parent company and the first production user of Etuity Core. The company hosted the Marine Insurtech Summit in 2024 and holds affiliated membership with IUMI (International Union of Marine Insurance).
