Overview
ICE Systems (trading as ICE-Tech) is a core insurance software platform for carriers, MGAs, and TPAs across personal and specialty insurance lines. The company was founded in 2002 and was acquired by Acturis Group in 2017; it operates across more than 30 countries.
The platform delivers modular SaaS software covering policy administration, claims management, assistance case coordination, analytics, and digital customer portals. In January 2026, ICE Systems completed a rebrand unifying ICE InsureTech and Nordic Insurance Software (NIS) under a single ICE-Tech identity. The platform includes an AI suite called Alice, which embeds conversational AI across underwriting, claims, and digital journeys.
Customers include Tier 1 carriers such as Aviva, Unum Group, the AA, and John Lewis & Partners. ICE-Tech has operated for more than 23 years and holds Great Place to Work certification in the UK.
