Overview

IB Applications is a core administration platform provider for property and casualty insurers. Founded in 2010 in Copenhagen by Anders Engdal and Soren Degn Jahns, the company delivers IBSuite, a cloud-native platform that covers the full P&C insurance lifecycle -- from sales and underwriting through policy administration, claims, and billing.

IBSuite is built API-first on AWS and follows a 100% cloud-native architecture. The platform spans multiple modules including product configuration, rating, CRM, output management, billing, and a sub-ledger. Carriers receive continuous updates through the company's EverGreen deployment model, which eliminates discrete upgrade cycles.

The platform processes over 500 million transactions monthly and manages more than 20 million policies. Customers include enterprise carriers such as Zurich (doppo and Klinc), ManyPets, Topdanmark, Frende, AXA, and AIG. The company is bootstrapped and privately held, and acquired IO Group in May 2025.
