Overview

Global Mobility Service (GMS) is a telematics and IoT solutions provider for mobility finance and auto insurance, serving financial institutions, vehicle dealers, and logistics operators in Asia-Pacific markets. The company targets unbanked and underbanked drivers who lack traditional credit history, enabling them to access vehicle financing and insurance through behavioral data collected from connected devices.

GMS develops two core products: the MCCS IoT device, a proprietary telematics unit that installs in vehicles to continuously monitor driving behavior and vehicle data, and the Mobility Service Platform (MSPF), a cloud-based open platform that aggregates vehicle data and provides APIs for financial institutions, payment systems, and insurance providers. The MCCS device includes a remote vehicle control actuator to manage loan defaults, while the MSPF was co-developed with Toyota Motor Corporation and TOYOTA Connected to support financial product integration at scale.

Since 2015, GMS has facilitated over 11,000 vehicle loan contracts in the Philippines through its partnership with Saikyo Bank. The company raised a Series E round of USD 13.38M in October 2022 and has attracted 20+ investors. It holds a J-Startup designation from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and has been recognized by multiple industry awards. GMS operates in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
