oola, operated by the legal entity Estafsar, is a digital insurance distribution platform connecting consumers, brokers, and insurance companies in Egypt, covering personal and commercial property and casualty lines such as motor and home insurance. The company was founded in 2020 and publicly launched its platform in March 2022; it later rebranded from Estafsar to oola while keeping Estafsar as the underlying legal entity name.
The platform is a bilingual (Arabic/English) SaaS web application. oola Directory lets individual consumers compare offers and connect with an insurer or broker to complete a policy. oola Connect gives brokers verified leads, policy management, and CRM tools. oola Enterprise gives insurance companies modules for product management, lead generation, CRM, payment processing, and campaign management. oola holds approval from Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority to operate as an insurance distribution platform, and its roadmap includes machine-learning-driven personalized offers and digital claims settlement.
oola reports more than 15,000 individual customers, 1,500 business customers, 200 partner brokers, and 8 partner insurance companies, including Al Wataniya Insurance, Royal Insurance, GIG, and Tokio Marine Egypt. The company raised a USD 0.47 million pre-seed round in November 2022 from Everywhere Ventures, First Circle Capital, MAGIC Fund, and Vastly Valuable Ventures.
