EMIL Group GmbH is a core insurance systems provider for carriers and MGAs operating in the P&C and specialty insurance markets. Founded in 2016 in Berlin by Bastian Knutzen and Chris Maslowski, the company develops cloud-native software that enables insurers to administer policies, configure products, and manage portfolios without reliance on legacy on-premise infrastructure.

The EMIL Insurance Suite is a modular, API-first platform delivered as SaaS. Its no-code/low-code configuration layer lets carriers define and launch new products in under six months, without requiring dedicated IT resources. The platform uses a microservices-based architecture and is designed for embedded insurance use cases as well as traditional carrier operations. EMIL maintains offices in Berlin and Zurich.

The company serves 20+ insurance organizations across EMEA, including Signal Iduna, Swisscom, Die Continentale, BGV Badische Versicherungen, Verti Versicherung, and Janitos Versicherung.
