Overview

Coinscrap Finance is a data and analytics platform for banks and insurance companies, built on AI-powered transaction categorization. The platform ingests open banking and PSD2 transaction feeds, categorizes them with over 96% accuracy using machine learning, and surfaces personalized financial product recommendations to the institutions' customers through white-label digital channels.

The core platform is delivered as modular SaaS (also available on-premise or hybrid), organized around a suite of functional modules collectively branded COCO. These modules cover transaction enrichment, financial insights, automated savings tools, loyalty programs, insurance product discovery, ESG carbon tracking, and credit risk scoring. Financial institutions embed these capabilities in their existing mobile or web apps via API, with no customer-facing rebranding required.

Founded in Ourense, Spain and now headquartered in Pontevedra, Coinscrap Finance pivoted from a B2C savings app to a B2B platform in 2018. As of 2025 the company serves more than 15 financial institutions across Spain and Latin America -- including Santander, Bankinter, MAPFRE, Allianz, Generali, Zurich, Unicaja, and ABANCA -- with over 4 million end customers using Coinscrap-powered products. The company reported 60% revenue growth in 2023, approaching EUR 1M ARR, and holds ISO 27001 certification along with Great Place to Work recognition.
