Cloud Insurance is a core insurance system provider offering a full-stack SaaS platform for carriers, MGAs, brokers, and agents. Founded in Oslo in 2012, the company delivers distribution, policy administration, claims processing, and AI-powered document handling as an integrated suite or as modular components that slot into existing technology stacks.

The platform is built around a proprietary time-slicing policy architecture that supports dynamic premium models, subscription-based products, and mid-term coverage changes. AI machine reading automates document extraction from claims and policy files, reducing manual processing overhead. All services are delivered as cloud-hosted SaaS, removing the need for on-premises infrastructure.

Cloud Insurance operates in more than 20 countries across five continents. Clients include New Zealand Police Association, Kanguro, Nordic Benefits, and Compass Insurance. The company was founded by Havard Landro Nilsen and Axel Sjostedt and received seed funding of USD 112K in 2016 alongside support from Innovation Norway.
