Overview
Cleva is a core insurance software platform for carriers and brokers across life, P&C, and health insurance lines. The company provides modular, configurable systems covering the complete policy lifecycle -- from product configuration and distribution through underwriting, policy management, and claims -- for more than 60 European insurance companies.
Its product suite includes Cleva Life for life and savings products, Cleva Non-life for property and casualty portfolios, and Cleva ADP for health and social protection. These platforms are supplemented by ClevAI, an AI-orchestrated layer that adds intelligent document processing, multi-agent automation, and AI-assisted configuration across all core modules. Systems are delivered via SaaS or hybrid deployments with European data residency options.
Founded in 1985 and formerly part of Inetum Group, Cleva was acquired by private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners in July 2024. The company employs approximately 550 people across offices in Paris, Lyon, Porto, and Lisbon, and counts major European carriers including CNP Assurances, Swisslife Sante & Prevoyance, and Generali Tranquilidad among its clients.
