Overview

Clave Technologies is a core insurance administration software provider for carriers and financial institutions in Latin America. Founded in 2008 and based in Santiago, Chile, the company builds platforms covering the full insurance value chain: sales, distribution, policy management, and claims processing.

The company offers two main platforms: Kinetyc, an established policy administration system with modules for P&C, Life & Health, Surety, and investment products, and Kip.it, a next-generation composable insurance platform launched in 2024-2025. Both platforms are delivered as SaaS with REST and GraphQL APIs, supporting multi-channel distribution including direct, agent, broker, bancassurance, and embedded insurance channels. The architecture follows ACORD Framework standards and uses a microservices design for modular deployment.

Clave Technologies serves nine or more insurance companies in Chile and broader LATAM, including Sura, HDI Seguros, Consorcio, and Confuturo. In 2023, the company received a USD 7M capital injection from private investors to develop the Kip.it platform. The company obtained SOC 2 Type II certification in July 2025.
