Overview

AIS Servis is a core insurance systems provider and internal software house serving carriers in the Czech Republic. The company develops, supplies, and manages software solutions for insurers, with a focus on core business systems that handle policy administration, sales, life insurance products, and claims management. It operates as a subsidiary of Kooperativa pojistovna and Ceska podnikatelska pojistovna, both part of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), the largest insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe with operations across 25 countries.

The flagship product, Golem, is a core business system covering 16 functional domains aligned with industry standards, managing millions of insurance contracts for its parent-company clients. A next-generation platform called Neuron is currently in active development using agile microservices architecture, with three releases already in production. The company also develops online calculators and other insurer-facing tools, and has begun integrating AI capabilities into both its products and internal processes.

AIS Servis employs approximately 100 to 250 professionals across offices in Brno (headquarters), Prague, Pardubice, and Ostrava. As a captive technology unit within VIG, it does not receive external venture or private equity funding and instead operates under parent-company investment. It serves the combined insurance portfolio of its parent companies, which collectively hold approximately 33% of the Czech insurance market.
