AddVICE
Automated retirement planning and pension fund analysis for Turkey's Individual Pension System
Overview
AddVICE is a retirement analytics and pension fund comparison platform serving individual and corporate participants in Turkey's Individual Pension System (BES -- Bireysel Emeklilik Sistemi). Developed by Adendum Aktuerya, an Istanbul-based actuarial consulting firm founded in 2007, the platform targets both BES participants and institutional clients including life insurance carriers and pension fund operators.
The platform's core engine reads historical premium data via integration with E-Devlet (Turkey's e-government portal), calculates Social Security Institution (SGK) retirement benefits using official methodology, and models future BES fund accumulations. Proprietary performance indices -- the BGX Return Index and BBX Accumulation Index -- underpin fund comparison tools. A dedicated technology division, Adendum Teknoloji, was established in 2016 to maintain the platform's digital infrastructure. The parent firm, Adendum, also offers actuarial consulting services including IAS 19 severance indemnity calculations, leasing standards compliance, and M&A advisory for the insurance and pension sector.
Adendum serves clients representing approximately 90% of Turkey's private pension market by participant funds, with notable enterprise customers including Koc Holding and Pfizer Turkey. The firm received two World Finance Markets awards for Most Preferred Insurance Consulting Firm in 2018.
