Overview

Acturis France is a broker management and policy administration platform for insurance brokers, insurers, and wholesale brokers operating in the French commercial insurance market. The company is the French arm of Acturis Group, a UK-founded software provider for the insurance industry, and entered France in 2019 through the acquisition of Add Value Assurances, at the time the leading commercial-lines e-trading platform in the country.

The platform is delivered as a single cloud-hosted SaaS system covering client acquisition, quotation, online policy subscription, and claims management for brokers, alongside distribution tooling that connects insurers into the broker and wholesale-broker network. The Add Value Assurances e-trading platform, acquired in 2019, continues to operate as part of the French business.

Acturis Group reports more than 100,000 users across 40+ countries, more than two decades of operating history, and over 99.9% platform uptime over the past ten years. In the UK, more than 850 partners process an estimated EUR 15 billion in premiums annually through the platform, and the group has been named "best software platform" for seven consecutive years in the Insurance Times eTrading survey. Acturis Group is majority-owned by the private equity firm Astorg, which held approximately 52% of the group's capital as of mid-2024.
