Overview
WinBaoxian is a digital insurance brokerage serving individual consumers and insurance professionals across China, operating an online marketplace that aggregates products from more than 80 carrier partners. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, operating also under the corporate name Weiyi Technology.
The platform distributes more than 700 insurance products spanning life and P&C lines from major Chinese carriers including Ping An, PICC (People's Insurance Company of China), and Taikang Online. A flagship mobile application targets insurance agents, providing tools to generate and customize client proposals, compare products, and manage customer interactions in a single interface.
The platform has more than 9.7 million registered users and reports over 20 million downloads of its insurance advisor application. Investors include Ant Group, which led the Series B round in 2017, along with Matrix Partners China, Sina Weibo Fund, and CMC Capital in a 2019 strategic round.
