White-label policy servicing automation for annuity and life insurance carriers

Visit Website

Overview

Vigil is a policy servicing automation platform for annuity and life insurance carriers. The company targets the post-issue processing segment -- the operational workflows that follow an annuity policy sale, such as address changes, beneficiary updates, fund transfers, and other service requests. These workflows traditionally involve 15 to 20 manual steps and extended back-and-forth between carriers, advisors, and policyholders.

The platform delivers a white-label digital servicing experience that carriers can deploy under their own brand. It digitizes service request forms, applies validation logic to prevent Not-In-Good-Order (NIGO) errors, collects electronic signatures, and routes requests through to completion via an API-first architecture. Vigil supports multiple intake channels including phone, text, email, and API, and integrates with carrier CRM and policy administration systems. The company reports that the platform recovers approximately 60% of advisor time previously consumed by manual servicing tasks.

Vigil raised a USD 1.3M pre-seed round in February 2025 from M25 (lead), Nationwide Ventures, Clocktower Ventures, Meridian Ventures, and angel investor Rex Salisbury. The company was founded in 2023 by Mason Entingh (CEO), Reis Renneker (CTO), and Kole Lee, with backgrounds at Venmo, Beam Benefits, and Ford.
