Founded in 2021 by Juan Garcia, Asis Pardo, and Jose Maria de Lucas, the company holds underwriting authority backed by global reinsurers and is regulated by Spain's Direccion General de Seguros (DGS).

Tuio's programs operate on capacity provided by iptiQ (Swiss Re) and Allianz Direct Versicherungs-AG. The MGA designs simplified policy documentation -- home policies are approximately 8x shorter than traditional equivalents -- and prices products at up to 21% below typical market rates.
