The Israeli Insurtech Accelerator

The Israeli InsurTech Accelerator (ITIA) is an accelerator program based in Tel Aviv that supports insurance technology startups in Israel by connecting them with global insurers, reinsurers, investors, and mentors. Founded in 2017 by Kobi Bendelak, ITIA operates as the acceleration arm of the InsurTech Israel ecosystem, which encompasses approximately 185 active insurtech startups.

The accelerator runs a structured 10-week program (with an alternative 5-week intensive format) for cohorts of six to eight selected Israeli insurtech startups. As of April 2026, the program has completed ten cohorts. Graduates have collectively raised over USD 200M in funding and signed more than 40 commercial collaborations with insurance companies worldwide. ITIA's international reach includes roadshows in the United States, Switzerland, and Germany, and participation in conferences such as ITC and Insurtech Insights London.

ITIA's corporate partner network includes global insurers, reinsurers, technology companies, and professional services firms. Primary programming partners include BrokerTech Ventures, AIG, IAG Firemark Ventures, Lloyd's of London, and Aon Reinsurance Israel, among others. The broader partner ecosystem also includes technology firms such as Microsoft, Dell Technologies, and Sapiens, as well as professional services firms such as Deloitte and Milliman.
