The company is the Indonesian subsidiary of the Sunday insurtech group, headquartered in Thailand, which holds general insurance licenses in both Thailand and Indonesia -- two of the largest general insurance markets in Southeast Asia. Sunday expanded its Indonesian portfolio in January 2024 through the OJK-approved acquisition of 99% of PT KSK Insurance Indonesia.

The carrier applies AI and machine learning across underwriting, pricing, and claims handling, built on a cloud-native microservices architecture. Its primary distribution channel is Jolly, a mobile super app available on iOS and Android, through which customers can obtain quotes, purchase policies, and submit claims without broker or agent involvement. The platform supports both Indonesian and English interfaces and is designed around a fully digital customer journey from onboarding to claims resolution.

The Sunday group has raised over USD 106M across multiple funding rounds, with investors including Vertex Ventures SEA, Tencent Investment, Aflac Ventures, SBI Ventures Malaysia, and OSK Ventures International. Group-wide revenue surpasses USD 100M, making Sunday one of the larger insurtech groups operating licensed carrier entities in Southeast Asia.
